Group Facilitation Strategies & Techniques

Group facilitation is both art and science. A good facilitation meets the strategic needs of the leader, but if done well, can also elevate team cohesion and engagement. Preparation is key in developing a productive meeting that encourages focus and inclusion.

We offer coaching for individuals who will be facilitating single events or are looking to build more general facilitation skills. We will help facilitators identify the direct and indirect goals of the meeting and will then craft an agenda that uses guided conversations, group and individual exercises and post-meeting follow-up and accountability strategies. If preferred, we also offer ourselves as facilitators in cases where external facilitation will achieve the meeting goals more effectively.
